Flangebar Model FBT Click image for closer view This Flangebar is our original model which was designed and developed by Iron Workers who wanted to find a better and easier method for tie-off while working on and around structural steel. The Model FBT attaches quickly to the top or bottom of horizontal beams to form a rigid anchorage connector to connect a safety lanyard or retractable lifetime for personal fall protection and fall restraint. The Model FBT's unique design allows it to slide smoothly along the flange of the beam to follow the worker to his work area while maintaining 100% tie-off. Weighs under 5 lbs for easy portability and quick attachment. All stainless steel construction for corrosion and rust proof. High strength polyester impact strap for top mount protection. Certified by Engineer with testing over 10,000 lbs load. Installs and detaches in seconds with no tools. Virtually indestructible for years of reliability. Sizes FBT-2016SR Universal size, Fits 3.5"  to 12" wide x 1.125" in thickness. FBT-2018SR Fits 3½"  to 18" wide x 1.125" in thickness. FBT-2024SR Fits 12"  to 24" wide x 1.125" in thickness. FBT-2524SR Fits 12"  to 24" wide x 2.50" in thickness.
